With all the work put in to some of our favorite movies, it’s hard to think that any could have obvious mistakes. But there are. Lots of them. From firing arrows wrong, to changing eye colors, to candles on string, some of these big budget movies have the simplest mistakes. How many of them did you spot when you first watched all of these movies?
1. Pirates of the Caribbean
Behind Captain Jack you can clearly see a man with a cowboy hat in the background. Cowboys vs Pirates, anyone?

2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
If you look closely, you can see the wires keeping the candles hanging.

3. Django Unchained
Django wears a really cool pair of sunglasses throughout the movie. Unfortunately, sunglasses weren’t introduced until almost 60 years after the movies takes place. This might be intentional by Tarantino, or it might not be. But I’m not going to mention it to Django…

4. The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings
Legolas’ eye color changes from movie to movie. The magic of elves is…confusing.

5. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
See the camera man? I wonder what Mr. Weasley would think of a video camera!
